Synopsis

Andre Lotterer lives his life in top gear. As a high-performing Formula E race driver keeping up with a highly demanding race schedule, requests from major sponsors, and a rigorous training regimen, he has found that photography is his opportunity to get away from it all.

When Parker contacted me and introduced me to his idea, I immediately agreed without thinking twice. The combination of Leica and Porsche is aesthetically one of the best imaginable and Parker is a guarantee for beautiful projects whose scope up to graphic design I appreciate very much.

After having absolute freedom in the design, PP Rader of PangramPangram immediately came to my mind. A font that I wanted to integrate into a project for a long time, but until now it just hadn't fit. But this time it turned out to be the perfect choice - the large selection of special characters, numbers, details and ligatures made the design very straightforward.

I found the photo in André's archive from the race track and immediately had the idea to make it even faster and more fitting with pixel-streching. I like how it still subordinates itself to the information and creates an additional, creative element.

So within a very short time the project was very coherent and could still be prepared with the appropriate details.
